About the Recipe
I absolutely loved this treat especially when I was pregnant and nursing. They are lactation friendly already with the oats but especially adding in the flax seed and Brewer's Yeast helped my milk supply a bunch.

Ingredients
2 Cups of Oats
1/2 Cup Ground flaxseed
3 Tablespoons Brewers Yeast
1 Cup Peanut Butter (almond should work too)
2/3 Cups Maple Syrup (sugar free or organic)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (Dark or Milk or Sugar Free)
Preparation
Step 1
Keep Chocolate chips to add in last. Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl in order listed above starting with oats and ending with syrup and vanilla.
Step 2
Once mixed well and ingredients are moist add chocolate chips and mix well.
Step 3
Start forming mixture into balls (two tablespoons in size). Make smaller if needed. Roll them and then place on a non stick pan or in container. Store in fridge preferrably for the week or on countertop in ziploc bags for a few days.
Note: if mixture needs to be more sticky add a tiny bit more peanut butter. If it needs more moisture you can splash with a little water and/or add a tad more maple syrup.
